There is no hard and fast rule. Some ICOs can net you a good profit. Same goes for a good altcoin investment. Just do your due diligence properly and get it right

Most of the time decision as regards to crypto should be personally taken, hmmm, your question is somehow, but as regards to ico is not advisable for one to venture into it as of now for one to be on the safer side, but altcoin is the future one just need to do necessary finds before investing in it.

maybe now is better to invest in Altcoins because the level of risk is also slightly smaller than investing in ICO but it depends on each of us.  if want to get experience try it but not high investing so will get lesson investing .

Currently, the DeFi project is in the pipeline and could be a good opportunity, it's just that the risk is very high and the fear will be bearish in the near future.  My advice is to invest in a reputable Altcoin only..
