The digital currency of the Central Bank is the digitized national currency of a particular state. States were especially interested in the possibility of using their digitized currencies during the period of the emergence of the coronavirus, when paper money was recognized as possible carriers of the coronavirus.
In addition, stablecoins of states have many advantages even compared to their non-cash currency, since transactions with the digitized currency are much faster, more transparent and economical.

Recently there was an article saying that CBDCs could be a way for governments to control their people more, for example what the Chinese government can do with their crypto Yuan, which makes me need to change views on CBDC because it was not much better than fiat. Perhaps stable coins are a better choice for economies, when the use of money is out of the manipulative hands of governments.
