Favorite DeFi project by locked market cap?

Currently the locked market capitalization of decentralized finance (DeFi) is at $14 billion, an increase of 2000% since the start of 2020.

There are now 5 projects that each have over $1 billion locked up; Maker, WBTC, Compound, Uniswap and Aave, with over 40 projects now with over $1m locked up.

In comparison, Bitcoin's most popular DeFi protocol remains Lightning Network (ranked 26) with only $19.4 million in locked market cap.



Which out of these Top 10 projects by locked market cap are your favorite and why?

My favourites DeFI projects above mentioned list are Maker, aave and uniswap. But above all listing DeFI projects are worthy to invest and worthy to hold for long-term investment.

All are nice but MKR, Link and UNI are my favorite DeFi but here Link isn't included in the chart.

Top 10 above DeFI projects really very much popular and secured (already captured coinmarketcap ranked) . Anyone can invest above projects undoubtedly because it is popular cryptocurrency like bitcoin, ETH and ripple.

I choose WBTC. Because in my opinion this is a project to help BTC holders participate in the DeFi market easily and quickly. Because it is an ERC20 token, WBTC is transferred faster than regular Bitcoin, but the main advantage of WBTC is being able to integrate into the world of wallets, dapps, and smart contracts on the Ethereum network. Never before has an investment in BTC been so flexible in the crypto market, BTC investors will be able to make more profits thanks to the WBTC.

Honestly, I'm not interested in DeFi. Because, this trend is short term. only pump and dump, it's really high risk for investor.

Uniswap, Aave and Balancer get my vote. I think Maker might not be as useful as it once was now that competition has arrived. I'm not convinced about most Defi projects but these three have caught my attention.
