Will a MetaMask wallet work for airdrops or should only use MEW?

MetaMask is great for airdrops, just check etherscan.io from time to time if airdrop Tokens are received.

Metamask is ok for the airdrops that support the ERC20 tokens as Mew does.

Control very carefully that you have to receive an ERC20 Tokens because if you have to receive a token that don't belong to the ERC20 category, you will need a different wallet(like wawes and co).

Good point... Ive seen this a bit more often lately so be extremely careful at what type of token it is and adjust accordingly.
