NFT tokens are able to bring big profits to those who sell them and to those who resell them, but you need to take into account that this is a hype and the degree of risk of investing in NFT tokens is very high. But the idea is cool and many will have time to make money on it.

Just like the ICO hype in the past years, the coming of age of NFTs is going to attract many bad players who are just here for the money, nothing more nothing less. And these people are gonna be creating havoc and contributing nothing for the emerging NFT industry. Certainly, as it is now easy to be making an NFT this is going to be crowded with clowns and jokes -- but there will always be those that stand out just like finding a gem among many paintings available in the sidewalk. There is an inherent problem with NFT - anybody can produce NFT anytime thus we can see the value of many creations not given enough value and just lumped with those in the bargain basement. Nevertheless, the good side of NFT is that good artists are now given the chance to showcase their creations with a global market.

Depends what is art. Black square by Malevich is also a piece of art. For me, NFT is a new direction in art. But overprices art. If people are ready to pay millions for NFT, well, if they can afford that, then why not. Each art has its own fans.
