Hong Kong tech company Meitu has taken a $17.3-million hit on its Bitcoin (BTC) holdings — but on the upside, its Ether (ETH) holdings have gained $14.7 million. In the world of investments, it can be a give and take process. You give up some losses and then you take in some gains. And this is just normal. The lesson here is never put all of your eggs in a single basket because nobody can guarantee of anything. Had Meitu not added Ethereum in addition to Bitcoin, it would have been a disaster of a big proportion. Still, the total is a multi-million dollar loss.
