Yes, thats true.
What will we wait, I see Ethereum 2.0 has launched and  didn't good effect for high gas fee.
It's just fast transaction but expensive gas fee still there
Better to migrate other smart contract platform, I have asked my senior friend He said gas fee problem cannot be solved.
So, forgot it, Don't hope too high about Ethereum 2.0.
