Whats your experience with gambling?

My gambling journey is not quite an entertaining one because of the losses I experienced. It happened that I gambled huge money in the past with the aim of hitting jackpot since gambling does pay the money won whether big or small without wasting time.

The target of winning big amount has been the aim without reasoning how long would it take me to win such a jackpot I aim, after i must have lose terribly when gambling.

The wrong mentality about gambling is what makes our gambling journey to be ugly because the majority sees gambling to make quick money for themselves

Gambling can make you rich overnight mate if you have all the luck in the world but that seldom happens to an individual as most of us gamblers will experience financial difficulty at first before realizing that we need to change our mindset in order for us to have a good overview on gambling.

Right gambling can make a man rich overnight if all the luck in the world depends on it. Moreover, it is not possible to become rich overnight from gambling. Gambling is an addiction to which a person becomes addicted and destroys his entire life. Maybe those who are addicted to gambling participate in order to change themselves very quickly, if they continue to gamble and gamble, they cannot get rich quickly and eventually become destitute. To anyone who says gambling is recreational, I say gambling is recreational but there is some hope of making money.

It is simple because when you look at the gambling phase you would see that it's a thing of choice and a thing to ease ones anger or stress, gambling is entertaining and whomever that is gambling for these sake can actually becomes responsible if they are not over doing it making it looks so obvious that their lives depends on gambling.
If a gambler sets some restrictions and limitations to themselves then it's fine, this will enable them channel their gambling to a better ways where they don't go gamble excessively.

I can say that there have been successful and unsuccessful phases of gambling life. I used to play poker and I was somehow unlucky, but I didn't think about it at the time, so I lost a lot of money. I don't think this space is enough to share my experience. Gambling made me almost drop out from school because I used my school fees to gamble and was denied writing exam. Luckily, those of us who missed out the exam was given another exam to write. This was my worst experience.

Other times, I have failed to cash out due to greed and then I will end up losing everything and wishing I had cashed out. Sometimes I win but it is not commensurate with my loss.

That's a terrible experience you have, We all know that tuition fees really is high depending on courses so how did you regain that money you have lost? Did you borrow?  Gambling especially to students really makes it turn very badly for the gambler unless he or she got lucky enough to score a decent win.

I have lost more than I have won which is a norm in gambling. This is why I only gamble for fun so that when I loss, I walk away happily because I enjoyed the fun of the game. I was once an addict a d lost so much to gamble, but I now gamble responsible and I can control my losses now.

You are absolutely correct and that is what I also do and it has been of help to me and I wish everyone can also have the same mentality, because with this kind of mentality, I believe the high rate of addiction won't be that much and it also helps people to gamble responsibly, that is why it's always advisable to gamble for fun, because if we gamble for fun, even if we lose or win, we be glad and take whatever things that comes our way with good faith even if it's not even up to what we have loss, also having time limits and how much we can also afford to spend can really be helpful because if one becomes an addict, it will really be hard for the person to stop, although having the experience of gambling whether negatively or positively is very important, as they said experience is the best teacher.

My strategy is very simple and can be applied to any type of games, including sports betting, it is that if I have 200usd available, but I want to spend only 20usd, I make a plan where I am going to play or bet only with that money and if I lose I assume my loss and I don't feel bad or anything, because it's the money I have available for that, but if I win it it seems fine to me and with that winning money I can do two things, leave a part to play in another session of game, it means on another day or on another occasion, for that reason this way I can let go of all my emcoines in every sense of the word.

Well yeah I would say I am willing to take then risk if I personally don't need that free extra money because if not then that's a suicide as I think it seems it is more like we're using loan money to gamble. That could also be another effective waste to mitigate one's losses and not let it get to you or push you into taking drastic actions that could lead to more losses.
First of all, when walking into the casino with intentions of gambling, you should be prepared to lose everything you're going with because there's a 100% possibility of that happening, so when it happens, you don't feel bad because you expected it from the onset, even before walking in there.

So if one has 200 dollars and you know you can't afford to lose all 200, it'll be better to divide the money and take just what you can afford to lose, so that when you lose it, it won't have much negative effect on you, and if you eventually win? It's still even better.

We will definitely feel stress, how could we not face 2 problems at the same time because of 1 mistake we made, it will make us unable to calm down and I think if I were in that position then I wouldn't be able to sleep at all.

However, this is also important because once again this can be a lesson that we can take to be better in the future. There is no need to regret it, because everything cannot be repeated, what we can do is try to be better.

There might be times that I'm winning, but at the end of the day, all of my capital will be *poof* in an instant.

TBH, I regret doing gambling because I lost a huge amount already. I can just imagine and always ask myself "What if I just used those money to buy Bitcoin?"
