As a patriotic Nigerian it's my desire to see Nigeria get better. I pray, wish and hope everyday but it's unfortunate that indices available shows that Nigerians show brace up for hard times. The light at the end of the tunnel is dim and our leaders haven't shown any sign of comradeship neither have they brought out any visible roadmap of transformation. All we can do now is hope, wish and pray

If everyone's needs are met, they will be happy. Nobody neglects what belongs to them. As a Nigerian citizen, I choose not to speak negatively about my country or criticize its leaders. When you point one finger at someone, the remaining four fingers point back at you. Criticizing leaders can have unintended consequences that affect us all.

Instead, I suggest we pray for the country's improvement. Our leaders have the potential to drive positive change, development, and growth, but they seem unwilling to do so. Nigeria can become a better nation if its leaders work together and prioritize the country's development. Unfortunately, they seem indifferent to the country's plight.

We can't predict Nigeria's future, but we hope that things will return to normal soon.

I am a Nigerian and I have lived all my life in Nigeria. Considering the present state of affairs, those who say Nigeria will be better are only being patriotic and optimistic.

There are no indice on ground to show that Nigeria will be better soon. The main trouble with Nigeria is with bad leadership, corruption and embezzlement of public funds

Will nigeria get better yes,it can only get better when we have  leaders fighting for the country growth and not for there personal interest, democracy have failed us,we don't longer vote our choice, our votes doesn't count, our country have what it takes to make our economy grow, the growth of our economy reduces every year nigeria needs to step up.

I agree with you. The problem or trouble with Nigeria is purely a problem of Leadership as ascertained by  Chinua Achebe. If we can have sincere, honest and dedicated Leaders then we can have a Nigeria of our dream

Yes I agree with this that the leaders are responsible for the present economic situation. However, bad leadership is not only responsible for the way the country is today, the citizens also played a part to the way the country is today. Imagine me being scammed last weekend by a fellow citizen, one who is supposed to have my own back. He scammed me of my own hard earned money just because I was in desperate need of learning a skill. So the citizens are not helping matter they keep blaming the government for everything when some of this blames should be going to themselves. If we the citizens keep on with this dubious activities of defrauding and cheating others, I don't think Nigeria will  be better, rather it will only get worse.

To me the major issue in Nigeria is tribalism, tribalism is a form of corruption that has eaten deeply into our country Nigeria, during election period you see people voting for an individual not because the individual is capable to rule the country but the said individual is from the same tribe or religion, if tribalism is not taken care of Nigerian will not go anywhere

I very well agree with this to an extent. For example a person who is from a tribe will not like another person from a different tribe to rule them, not because they lack the potential but because of tribalism as you have said. And this tribalism has been the order of the day in every aspect of the economy, it even happened during the last election, people voted for people that hey had the same tribal affiliation with.
Tribalism as a plague exist amongst our leaders and also among the citizens. To answer the question of whether the country will get better, my answer would be for now No, because there are so many levels of corruption, and manipulation which has eaten into the economy and may be very difficult to completely be removed, but when this is removed, Nigeria can finally be better. Before blaming or accusing the government, the citizens should note that they have a greater role to play in this.

Foe now we don't have any good aspiring leader in the National level and the APC government has made things difficult for the young people to participate in politics. Only to buy form is millions of naira (NGN50+ m). For now what I am thinking the best way to do is for the Military to take the government if only they can like minded like the Burkina Faso Head of State now. If Peter Obi enter, I don't think he can do better and if it's Atiku, Nigeria will be worse than this. Tinubu did come to develop and govern the people in the country but he came because it was it turn to sit in the seat. And embezzled the national resources and materials.

It is completely valid for the public to complain about the current system of politics because it is quite rigid in terms of allowing the young talents to come forward, affirmative, both financially and in terms of chances. However, a shift from government to the military may mean that it will have a destabilising effect on an already existing democracy or the democracy forming process may be hindered. It is vital to note that every leader including Peter Obi and Atiku has the power to devise various policies to arguably change the direction of the country but this will not be without challenges. Those criticising Tinubu should also begin to address the political and economic situation in the country instead of holding on to an empty political opinion.
