You have to be careful about what is being called cloud mining, you will be required of performing some particular daily task and be promised of being rewarded with some coins after the whole task had been completed, most of them are fake, they don't really exist and what they are promising you will not be realized at the end of the struggles when the task is fully completed, it's even more better to go for some ICOs than going for cloud mining that are nothing than a waste of time.

But what we think is a possible mining scam called Meta mining, this could be cloud mining but they display mining devices just to trick a lot of people so stay careful, this is usually a scam.

I did a meta mining search on Google that is cloud mining with passive income but it's too real to be good.

Legitimate mining means you have your own equipment and run it yourself.

Since you claimed that you are new to the system you did the right thing by asking the community about this meta-mining I'm sure you stumbled on this mining on either an ad or through your timeline, I don't think this is a legit offer, you mention various services which means cellphone mining so I can conclude that this is a cloud mining service, for me cloud mining is a thing of the past and hidden as a Ponzi scheme now, so better forget it, I prefer staking than mining, on mining you have to be knowledgeable about hardware kinds of stuff and proper configuration

I somehow doubt he will, seems like every forum has some of these ninja guys. And not good ninjas!!!
Anyhow, my bet would be on some received scam out of the hundreds that went online when Facebook announced meta, scams at that time were selling mroe stuff than even SuckerBerg himself though of ever being done.

But if you go by google results only, there are some funny ones, promising very interesting returns:

Meta mining? I think you are talking about cloud mining, in which you are providing your internet, or whatever in order to mine, well, In 2018 I spent a hell of a lot of time on many cloud mining platforms and I always joined the ones that were fake so you can conclude that I wasted my time and got nothing back. Actually I do not wanted to invest any funds until I make any profit. That's why I did not spend a penny.

And I will recommend you to do the same because I wasted my time if I would have invested money then I would waste money too, because most of these platforms are fake even in the current era.
