Sega was the greatest game console I had as a kid. There was the PS 1 at the time, but we couldn't buy it because it was expensive. That's why I have a great respect for Sega. Also, they were in Arsenal's shirt advertisement for a while. We can say that they are a well-established company, but we can also say that they can't renew themselves and that's why they lose to their competitors. Honestly, i don't expect much from this partnership. Today's Sega isn't as great as Sega from last century, while average gamer still shows resistance towards Blockchain and similar stuff. But looking at Finschia, it looks like their technology alraedy used by some big companies[1]. Although none of those company is in game sector.

I am not really interested in Web3 or blockchain gaming, but for people who are a fan of this, it is surely good news for them, Sega have been in the entertainment industry for a very long time and gamers can trust them to produce something good and entertaining.

I believe that they have something to offer in Web3 gaming, they previously announced that they would not be involved in Web3 gaming, and called it boring, but now they are taking their words back and it would be interesting to see what they come up with.
