What the above scam confirms is that you should not trust a celebrity who tells you that there is an ideal opportunity to win money for free or launch a cryptocurrency. The fraud may be a matter of pumping and dumping and you will lose everything within minutes.

UFC and Dana White are always talking about cryptocurrencies and they have many crypto sponsors during last few years.

He seems to be tired of fighting and now wanted an easy money ?  we all wish that he is not the mastermind of this scam but the mere fact that he kept running the project after being exposed .

that would really be a dump fan. Khamzat isn't even the most liked person in UFC. you would probably like Poatan who doesn't smile than Khamzat who stir trouble all the time.

Khamzat isn't a computer guy, i doubt this guy even knows how to use cryptowallet. but he must have been paid to promote the Smash token which is a memecoin in SOL.  he looks too naive actually but he promoted Smash and so he is accused in this scam.

the team is also a newbie, trying to buy up all their tokens, probably planing to pump but zackXBT found out about the planed rug pull. lol

Khamzat manager Majdi Shammas clarified the situation and explained that some of his fans requested promotional video featuring Khamzat.
His manager agreed to this without thinking about any negative consequences, but later he apologized to Khamzat and all his fans.
Manager took over the blame on himself but we are waiting for more information.

the manager didn't say whether they've made money out of this. because most probably victims will likely want their money back. if its a scam them there are victims which the manager knows who these scammers are. they only need the authorities to step in and just smash them.

i'm having doubts there are many of them though. you would have to be a real die hard fan if Khamzat to buy something this guy promoted, least of all a crypto promoted by him. he is hated by a lot of UFC fans but he fights well and would love to shout "kill em all"

Chimaev is a great fighter; he should have concentrated on UFC and establish his legacy but it seems there's not much money in UFC Take a look at Ngannou and what he earned on his fights in UFC he earned it in one fight Chimaev wants huge money and he uses his reputation to promote this scam.
Many UFC events are held in the US, so he will have to fight elsewhere or move in other promotions that is not located in the US.

He didnt do anything that bad, and he didnt create his own token and personally called people to buy anything, so regulators have nothing against him.
his manager took the blame so if they are going to pursue anyone that is going to be his manager, or maybe ex manager soon 
He is a good fighter and this can only give him publicity and reputation of bad boy in UFC, Dana White can sell that story again.
