Our users tend to give much more positive karma than negative, so even if someone is disappointed with some of your posts it is not a problem as long as you make good enough contributions, because other users can give you positive karma even to compensate your negative balance if they consider that unfair. The problem can be if no your posts motivate anyone to give you positive karma and some motivate for negative, try to avoid that.
