Coming into this year I want to build on the success I got towards the end of last year in my trades.

I've set a few targets for this year, and while I intend to make more profits, I still want to stick to my risk management strategy and not get carried away by what the market does.

I'm also looking at trading bots and grid trading, I've been exposed to it a lot more recently as my exchange is allowing users to benefit from events that integrate them, and this is something I'd like to do and I was hoping I could get advice from people with experience in this here.

Trading with bots, copy trading, perpetuals or any other related promotions on which exchange will really be running up then it all matters on some trader whether this is something that they would fit in. Dont fit yourself or trying out something new which is out of your strategies. If you do find your trading profitable on last years then why would be trying out to changed? If there would be would be some possible adjustments or add ups then it isnt really that bad at all.  The thing here is that you do really know on what you are really that doing. Dont limit yourself into opportunities on which if you do find out changes and if you do need to go higher in terms of strategies then do it, its a matter of trial and error in the end of the day.

Trading bot is an added feature for convenience so don't mistaken it for bringing more profits, it just execute what you would do and that it so it is not like some self conscious AI that is working for us and make money by breaking every loopholes on the market in a fraction of second.

New year or whatever, just stick to the basics and build a strategy that is profitable for you.

I have the same thought as you, why try new things when trading with that strategy is already profitable? In fact, I think it's good because we only need to perfect it to be better and more effective.

Many traders are still confused about their strategy, so I think they should reconsider if they want to do something new. It's not that it's not allowed, but I think it's better to continue and perfect the previous strategy.

I am not popular with bot trading but heard any information when using bot trading if price decreasing automatically set up stop loss feature with losses ratio under 20%, in other way must paid fee service for bot trading depend on kinds of bot and looks not really interested yet because we can't hold for longer time when using bot for trading.
Better trade or invest manual we can take profit as much we want and stop loss depend how much percent price decreasing, but if can earn much profitable chance with bot trading looks not bad ideas set up bot trading for this year.

motivation can help you to be a steping stone,without risk you can't get there,life itself is all about risk,already you have the idea of trading,the risk attempting might shock you.

Strategy is just a few steps but to trade you have to accept risk. Trading any volatile coin will never be risk free.  But trading is fully dependent on technical analysis, the better the analysis the better the profit.

Strategy is always needed the more and better strategies one can create the better one can profit be it from trading or business or job every field itself needs some unique strategy. That can make you different from others.

Using a trading bot like the Grid Trading Bot will only be recommended for those of you who already understand how trading works, you will set everything up to make a profit.

Actually, it is not easy to set the trading grid so that the trading rhythm is as desired, everything must be regulated sufficiently in order to make profits in each trade and also the capital resilience that you have also needs to be regulated.

Don't use any trading bot if you don't know how to set it up, it will just be a wasteful dump.

Can you share your risk management strategy as it can be helpful for many of us, speaking of myself I don't have a risk management strategy which would be very beneficial for me as I did not either did DCA in alts I bought them high all of them and now sitting with huge loss waiting for the alts to hit even the break even price.

You won't beleive how it manipulated me, like Avax gave me $150 profit I did not booked, it dumped back to entry price, it again rise and gave me the same profit I did not booked it drooped back to the entry price and now when I booked the profit it went more high as $45 which was not that much of a big pump I know but still more profit would have been made but let's just not be greedy and stick to the profit we have and be grateful. Market is currently teaching me lessons like these therefore I don't plan to follow old strategies but to make new and follow them.

Changes are constant, as we move along, there are setbacks, but if you adjust our plans and strategies as expected, it brings good progress. in facts, there are bound to to be some challenges as the year progresses, but a periodic review of plans, and strategies can boost our performance at the end of the year in my opinion.

I guess I came across this post at the right time. I've learnt so much from everyone else's input on this topic. I've always wanted to give grid and bot trading a shot. I guess I have to know how and when to use it. I've discovered that there's an opportunity to receive a spot grid position voucher worth from $50  which could help cover potential losses while I'm still learning. I'm thinking of taking advantage of this incentive to try out grid and bot trading with minimal risk.

I agree with you, we must review our plans and strategies in trading. because in trading we must always see market trends, and the 2025 market will be different from the 2025 market conditions because this year we will enter the bullish season. I will also change the strategy if I have not gotten the profit I want.

There are many strategies that really works but some of them may not work for you, and also what works for you may not work to others. It only means that there are no perfect strategies that gives you a very high winning rate. That's why we really need the risk management to be applied every time we trade because we can't always win. In that way, we can survive and become profitable in the future. I also not recommend to use trading bots because I didn't see a trader became profitable with that.
