Politicians would always be who they are irrespective of their divide. I can tell this to be a strategy and a development at the same time. They think two side ways to be a perfect plan for them. The support for the project is just to be for the crypto community to see his enthusiastic move for crypto which he has long exhibited and showing support and the other likely for business purpose. He likely can not afford to loose the election, and if he does, there is a back up to cash out before the time being. Seeing him support his son for the crypto project is not a big deal if he means crypto support, he should look into the crypto market and see project to support and not a family business for political gains. He is a good business man and I am surprise d how he became a good political strategist overnight.

In my opinion, this approach is 100% political strategy to win the crypto community over, if he’s had this Vision, then why wait till now before making it open to the public. If there’s one thing I know about Trump, that’s the fact that he’s a businessman and a politician, and one quality that these both profession has is the ability to be strategic and to utilize the ability resources and use it to their advantage. Trump is fully aware just how big the crypto community is and if he can successfully win them over to his side, it’s gonna be a big plus to him. For someone who has an upcoming election, isn’t he supposed to be focusing on his campaign and how to win? It’s impossible to divide his attention and give some attention to crypto, except of course it’s one of his political strategies, It’s very obvious. I do welcome the innovation he plans to bring as it’ll help the crypto community if he actually keep to his words, but I strongly doubt that he’ll do everything he’s saying.

You are damn correct on this approach of Donald's support towards his son's launching of a crypto project to be a political strategy to win the minds of crypto believers on USA soil to vote for him because he supports crypto.

When the election is over, and the winner is declared, we can begin to get to know the true color of the two presidential aspirants on crypto. Donald Trump is well aware that crypto is very popular among the youth right now and he is using this strategy to get their attention. He wants to win this presidential election at any cost.  Although he has a lot of popularity, the Democratic candidate Kamala Harris is his biggest rival. She has to compete very hard with Kamala Harris.  Because of which Donald Trump is using different types of tactics, I think Bitcoin is his political strategy. Regardless of the reason he decides this is why I support Donald Trump.

None of the candidates care about BTC, and it is understandable, they are running to be president of the United states, BTC is only a very, very tiny piece in all of this, BTC is also decentralized, there is no way the U.S. will support BTC in the way people are imagining. I don't trust politicians, i never do, they just do whatever they can to get into power.

I marked it as a political strategy because of the timing, if its not a campaign fever and he launch it or even thinking of launching one, then we can say that he is s serious Cryptocurrency advocate.

But when a politician started to do something new during the campaign, it was just meant to woe the voters, he's not really an advocate but just using the topic because he had seen the impact on his popularity and votes if he had the community on his side.

Expect Trump to say and do a lot of things just to gain an advantage on this campaign.

It can be said that what trump did was a political strategy to get votes. but if what he said he would do if he was elected president by supporting crypto, this would be good for crypto and maybe we will see an upward movement of bitcoin and altcoins.

I've read all the responding posts under this topic and going by the majority of opinions from y'all about the subject matter that I posed, it's clear that many of you believes Trump's recent move was politically influenced as he's trying to do everything possible to convince the US electorates to vote him during the presidential elections.

The crypto project was finally launched on Tuesday but the former US president declined to give much details about it. Hopefully, we're going to get more clarifications about the project and how it'll help in globalising cryptocurrency. You can read more about the launch here...
