The war between Russia and Ukraine has been going on for more than 1000 days and both sides are spending a lot of money on it and as a result, innocent people are losing their lives and fighters are being killed. In fact, war does not bring any benefit to humanity, yet the world is trying to find a solution through mutual war.
NATO is constantly providing financial and military assistance to Ukraine and Russia is demonstrating its strength with a single effort and is suffering a lot financially and militarily by waging a long-term war.

If Russia, which is facing financial and military losses due to waging a long-term war, gets annoyed and uses nuclear weapons, what effect could it have on the world ?

World peace is seriously threatened by the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, and I continue to be shocked that the UN is doing nothing to halt it. The war's occurrence demonstrates the UN's incapacity to follow through on its promise of global peace. The United Nations Security Council was supposed to take early action, but regrettably, nothing has been done.

This disregard demonstrates the high degree of politics that exist within the UN as well as the organization's lack of a standing army. Because some member states may not want to allow their military to participate in the peacekeeping effort when wars are raging in certain countries, the United Nations' ability to control wars has been undermined by its reliance on its members' armed forces.

The world would likely end.

Also if Russia nukes the Ukraine it is far more likely to 85% of the radiation float back to them.  As the winds mostly blow across the Ukraine towards Russia.

I also kind of think putin would prefer to be alive since he is supposedly m an atheist.

Russia is better off nuking Canada and saying Trump did it.

It would trigger those countries that are in support of Ukraine to retaliate immediately against Russia using their own nuclear weapons.

The case of using nuclear in a war is prohibited for any country to use. That's why the world powers keep kicking against it when other countries are planning to manufacture theirs because they know what it can lead to when countries that don't value the lives of citizens get hold of it. 1. There is no conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Russia, treacherously, in violation of all its obligations, attacked Ukraine, occupying a part of it. If a criminal with a knife attacks you and starts stabbing you, will you also say in court - “oh, what an attack, just a little quarrel”?

The problem of the situation is that the world is not ready for a situation when a nuclear country violates all its commitments, breaks all the laws it has signed, and spits in the face of the world, claiming that it can do whatever it wants because it has weapons. Just so you know, at the beginning of 2022, no one thought Ukraine would last more than a couple weeks - there was no military or financial aid, nothing but regular “regrets” and “concerns” in the media. Terrorist troops of Russia entered Kiev, and were 7 km away from my house in Kiev, and the streets of Kiev were already fighting, destroying armored columns. And after 2 months the world saw that Russia is just a huge embittered criminal who attacked a “schoolboy”, but got hit in the face and had to flee..... And now everyone is thinking - what to do with a huge terrorist ? And seeing the powerlessness of the world, other terrorist or totalitarian regimes have become active and are actively helping the country of the terrorist. And the world is still afraid to admit that the Kremlin terrorism is a cancerous tumor of the world, which has not been dealt with before and decided that it will not start destroying everything around. Yes, when the cancer has metastasized, it is even more difficult to treat. But if we don't start treating it now, it will kill everything around us, all those who love negotiations, and those who love to “solve it peacefully” and “make concessions to Russia”, etc. If the world does not stop the new brown plague, making maximum efforts and assistance to Ukraine, tomorrow the brown plague will come and destroy your cities and take your lives....

I wonder though if the UN are afraid to get heave handed with Russia in case they start using Nuclear Bombs?

Then it will be the beginning of the apocalypse, and we are almost reaching that point when governments like US and other countries are forcing Russia to keep on going with this war for a very long time. I don't want to take any sides on this one but I just want them to end somehow for the better future of this world or we might not have anything left to fight for.

War means destruction, and in today's world, war is not just a regional problem, it can spread from a few neighboring countries to several continents. War causes many deaths, increases in the prices of goods, food shortages, and energy shortages are always present, so not only nuclear war, but any war is not desirable for humanity.

Unfortunately, for some countries, or rather their rulers, war is the only way to distract the population from the real problems that the ruler or regime has created, and to keep their miserable power !
There are also rulers and regimes that just want to cut and destroy what they can not realize themselves, or for the realization of their painful complexes. Unfortunately, we are now witnessing such examples.... The key problem is that the modern world is very relaxed, mired in corruption, and cannot respond quickly and powerfully to such criminal regimes....

Our parents, who have witnessed war in the past, will tell you that war is not what the human race should witness. The damage and life loss it causes to humanity is what takes years before the memory can go off for people to recover from it.

However, the war between Russia and Ukraine, any time it stops, the memory will keep living on with the people of both countries. They will tell the war stories to their unborn on how the war started, what caused it, and the bad impact it had on the country. The memory of that will be passed on from generation to generation. Not forget how the war is being fought.

Yeah, countries that build nuclear weapons know the risks, but they still do it because it gives them power. There aren’t really strict rules stopping them, and having these weapons makes them feel stronger and more independent. It’s all about control and showing they can stand on their own.

Of course there is a strict rules otherwise US wouldn't be trying to stop Iran from establishing themselves as a nuclear power. Iran being a nuclear power means, they are going to try to be a leader in the middle east.

One more super power in this world means lots of chance they could turn this world in to a mess or one could just blow a neighboring country if they see fit.
