OP has lost his POL assets up to minus 50% more because now the price of POL is around 0.37 dollars. I'm sure OP feels sad seeing the portfolio of POL coins unless OP has sold it at the desired price. If I were OP, maybe when the price of POL fell to 0.65 dollars I would have Cut Loss or forced sale to minimize the level of loss or minus from buying POL coins at a price of 0.77 dollars.

Your calculation is correct and if I count with Bitcoin capital owned by OP for example with 1 bitcoin, then now the OP assets of the polygon coin are only around 0.5 Bitcoin. Sadly the assets are very much minus but this is clearly real in cryptocurrency.

Just be patient, and hope that one day POL will be able to rise to $1. but is it possible? yes it depends on the developers and also the community.

I noticed that the developer from polygon is still relaxed and not in a hurry to create something new, so this is also an effect on the polygon price coin is very relaxed in the range of around 0.3 dollars.

Yes, in its time, Polygon seemed like it would really be a tough competitor for Ethereum, especially with its low fees and some of the features it offered. But that seems to be the end, even now, Polygon is lagging behind, there is no significant development, and has actually been replaced by Solana which is actually developing very well.

It's always like that, what can be consistent and develop over time, that's what will really have the potential to rise. But if not, on the contrary, it will collapse easily. Honestly, I still have an investment in Matic which has now become POL, and it's really disappointing to see the current price of POL.

Still luckiness for OP because bought or invested at Polygon matic around $0.77 and right now have new branding with POL coins because I bought more higher price than OP over $1. Its difficult for accepting how easily POL or Polygon matic coins going drop more than 70% recently price although they have new branding with new name become POL coins.
I don't know how long need waiting for holding this POL coins after difficulty break new higher price and my target take back my capital only because pessimistic with this coins will reach back or make new ATH in the future, not matter bitcoin have break above $73k but POL coins still dropping.
