My experience with hardware wallets have been a smooth one and I cannot risk storing my coins in a paper wallet that has no recovery option if eventually damaged or lost. A lot of hodlers have realised this about paper wallets and that's why many like me prefer to use good hardware wallets. There may be some other benefits of paper wallets I don't know about, but I don't see myself using a paper wallet.Paper wallets were the default option before hardware wallets were invented. I suppose that most people have migrated but there have been some financial, let's say casualties where the paper wallet was damaged or lost before this happened. So let's just relegate all paper wallets to the dark corner of history and forget about their existence entirely. They are not worth it anymore.

Since hardware wallets have worked well for you it is logical to keep using them. This way you can feel safe and secure with your cryptocurrency.
