Hello can someone explain to me how these incredible pumps on raydium based solana icos work?

I've seen it a dozen time on photon, dexscreener etc.. Low liquidity pool (2 sol) and incredible pump at launch USD 100m + mcap.


No real advertising and srong volume and fast pump to a couple of billions and afterwards it is dumped or liiquidity is removed. Always trending names like Barron, Tesla, SpaceX.

It's more like a pump and dump strategy in fact that is basically the strategy that over 90% of Meme coins work on. What they do is they create a coin on a network which is usually solana these days and then they get enough liquidity (cash) via the investors that created this coins and then they release the coins after making proper advertisement and hype.

What actually happens is the liquidity of the creators plus that of other investors that comes into the ecosystem contributes to a sudden pump in price. Is just a simple strategy of putting liquidity in all of a sudden and then pulling it out too to dump the coin.

Are you saying that you want to create a pump & dump token too? I don't think you should follow what they do. Sure you might be able to get some money quickly, but your reputation will definitely take a hit and it's pretty easy for the government to able what you do as scam. Why not focus on developing your project more? If your project is good but you don't have the funds for marketing, you can post it here and see how the community perceives it.

you developed a token named spacex and then you expect someone will pump the token while you sell this spacex token to them. how lucky could you be?  and you think someone else will do it for you.

well the government may not be able to traced you. you can escape still. but maybe one day an AI will be developed to traced these accounts that are connected to each other.

Liquidity is irrelevant there if the trade are made by their own bots with their own coins, I could explain this a lot more but since it's obvious you would use this knowledge just to promote a pump and dump scam, no, not going to help you with it.

Sure you might be able to get some money quickly, but your reputation will definitely take a hit

Well, I've read the comments and still want to discuss a bit about what you're interested in. I think a memecoin can be successful if it possesses these conditions:

1. Gets lucky enough to gain community interest.
2. Has support from KOLs.
3. Has a very good price manipulation strategy: marketing on the price chart.

We have millions of memecoins in the market and most of them are silly and meaningless. I don't think I can stop the wave of memecoins, which means I also have no intention of stopping you from creating SpaceX memecoins. You have the right to do so, and you can also make it famous and profit from this memecoin.

If I may give you a piece of advice: create a memecoin that is fun, at least it will help the crypto community relax. If you're lucky, your memecoin could be as successful as PEPE ^^

The answer is obvious: MANIPULATING the market. Meaning people behind those projects are the ones propping up the coin, providing liquidity and once they sold a big volume of what they are holding they would then left the market hence the liquidity is gone and the price of the coin will crashed to the ground...just like the whole MOON landing on EARTH. Now, you would be lucky if you are either part of the pumping/dumping group or you know it beforehand (just like insider trading). Because the crypto market is not as regulated as other investment vehicles, people can still do this thing and then run away with the money they snatched from the market. You would not be on the crossroad with these people or be left behind with useless coins otherwise you will certainly lose money and your dreams crushed like a can.

The scams that have now been uncovered in Meteora, especially about Milei's coins, are a good example of the fact that there are several malicious people or groups whose only goal is to deceive as many people as possible, withdraw the money and that's it

Well, I don't have any experience in tricking governments but wouldn't you assume they have chain analysis data to track transactions for stuff like this? Even if you ignore the government I'm sure there are tons of chain analyst on social media who publishes research about scammers' wallets nowadays. Anyway, I just think that scamming people is just wrong to do in the first place, regardless of how easy it is for people to fomo and pump your tokens.
