Bets that aren't yet listed on Polymarket
« on: November 27, 2024, 02:51:28 PM »

I take a look at the Polymarket today because of a recent post on BTT that makes me curious about the list of unbelievable bets in there.

What could be interesting bet for someone might not be interesting for all but maybe listing some of them here might make someone list it on Polymarket either related to politics, economy and crypto.

Will be be interested to list them?

1.  Will US government fork BTC and ban the real BTC?
I don't have date expectations for this but I'm estimating during Trump's term.

2.  Will the current bullrun invalidate the 4 year cycle?
Expect expiration. I guess 4 years after.

This is not necessary. If you become a customer and you have any suggestion, you can contact their customer care.

I do not see any good reason that US will want to do this. Not that they will want to created dollar backed bitcoin. I do not rhink this will occur.

Nobody knows yet aside the halving versus all-time high, there has been nothing that changed yet

The forking of BTC by a government doesn't seem plausible to me. It would be ironic that they attack the tech behind Bitcoin because it's 'dangerous' to the environment and then use the same just with a few tweaks. Maybe a wrapped version is more likely to happen than a fork.

Polymarket is not something new; there's a similar platform like that; https://futuur.com/ has been online for a couple of years, and they have the same features as Polymarket and you can launch a prediction campaign like what you've mentioned above.
Anything and everything is possible on a platform, like when it comes to prediction but I don't know if can generate a lot of supports because majority of gamblers want fast results right away, but its good that we have a platform like these two.

Usually this can't stop or invalidate the 4 years circle as it's a programed and fixed event to happened as when due because, bitcoin has no central authority neither do any government has general power it to impose or manipulation the halving.
Though as you said an accurate answer would be after 4 years from now to know if the entire cryptocurrency gonna changed.

1.  Will US government fork BTC and ban the real BTC?
that’s quite… pointless trump has been very vocal about his appreciation to bitcoin and his interest in making sure the us is at the forefront of mining bitcoin and holding it as well even if they do fork bitcoin, i don’t think bitcoin enthusiasts will leave bitcoin to go for a government issued one i don’t think us govt has even plans of doing such

i don’t think so i think it will continue the way it has always been maybe there’s differences now in price volatility but i think the pattern of 4 year cycle will remain unchanged

There have been discussions about this forking actually which BlackRock may be among who could make this happen due the the ETF they launch.I'm also unsure but this could be a good bet on the Polymarket if those elites do have plans.

Heres one that is possible to happen. But I didn't check it whether it's already on the market.

3. Will BTC fall below 85k before Trump sits his office?

That is going to be a disaster for Trump if he allows Blackrock to fork Bitcoin, doesn't make sense if you have been a Bitcoin enthusiast for years. So it's really very dangerous to us if this happens.

Well we have seen the price goes below $95k'ish, but still very far from $85k. So I wouldn't bet on that, FOMO is still up in the air and we are just waiting for more money to pour to make it officially $100k next month.

They doing unbelievable decision before Trump goes back to Whitehouse. Sending BTC price down is like destroying Trump. This is just something of a possibility and there will be a lot of people who will disagree and will bet against me if I post this on polymarket.

Polymarket been well advertised and it's very well known for political bets. So I wouldn't be surprised it if someone from BlackRock or well verse politicians betting in there.
