The legal status of Bitcoin (and the other cryptocurrencies as well) is different from one country to another – meaning it is still undefined.  In some countries, the use of Bitcoin is banned; in other countries, the operations of Bitcoin exchanges are allowed but they have to be duly registered with the government.

In my country, the Philippines there's no problem Bitcoin is legal, and the other cryptocurrencies as well. Our Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) issued BSP Circular No. 944 which was approved on February 6, 2017, and published in a newspaper of national circulation on February 9, 2017.

Apparently we are neighbors, in my country Indonesia The existence of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency has not got legality from the government, here the government banned trading using Cryptocurrency, but the government does not prohibit crypto activities such as Trading Crypto, Mining and others. we are here free to do it, but we have to exchange crypto coins with the rupiah first if we want to shop.

In My country is not legal, But The government is not banning Bitcoin. I still can invest in bitcoin.

In my country, bitcoin is not legal. But bitcoin is not blocked by the government, this means that bitcoin can still be allowed as an individual investment. So, I think it's still safe as long as the government in my country doesn't block sites that are related to crypto currency.

Yeah there's no problem of bitcoin here in the Philippines and like what others country, the only problem is the scammers and besides nothing more.

In my country, Bitcoin is not legal But the government is not saying Bitcoin is illegal.

I am very thankful that the Philippine government is considered as an early adopter of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency that's why the Pilipino's enjoyed all the benefits of bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

I agree with OP since I also came from the same country in the PH in which there are a lot of bounty hunters and investors supporting btc. Our country is open to cryptocurrency and had already an existing established exchange site where btc supporters could made their payment transactions at their most convenient time.

Although bitcoin is not legal in my country, it’s activities is not prohibited by any law so we are able to engage in any crypto activities and even invest in it just that you can use it in the country and I think it’s cool now and I hope with time  the government come to accept it with some regulation policies.
