and then there are those who feel that in order to solve issues and problems its ok to just go ahead and shoot someone
The solution to this problem of people feeling that the only way to solve problems is through shooting people is for government to crack down on people who have history of shooting and always take record of shooting events in the various districts and have a mental health check on people as mental disorder can make people to behave anyhow and begin shooting others

The only way is to remove guns from society, close all opportunities for guns to be purchased over the counter.

Anyone can checkout fine or of sound mind and body, all it takes if during a moment of anger and loss of self control for someone to make the wrong decision and use their gun to solve an issue.

in answer to the thread title

because gun ownership is legal and particularly semi automatic guns and the fact that many people hold many guns.

and then there are those who feel that in order to solve issues and problems its ok to just go ahead and shoot someone

crimes of passion always ends up in killing someone however they do it. its really just about the people having guns, when you know every house in the country have guns, you are also have to arm yourself. you just don't know who in the world you upset and has the plans to murder.

I dont think thats a valid argument because it hasnt stopped crime. you might feel safe in your house because you have a gun but potentially everyone else has a gun too so it is actually the same as nobody having guns

yeah i do think that this can be actually the best solution we can come up with

in my opinion if you are not in any authority to own a gun for example being a police officer or a soldier then i do not think you have any business owning a gun you may not even know how to use it properly and a gun on your hands will give more harm to others than security to you i also know people who use guns as an intimidating factor so if they lack the title, they will have the weapon at least which should not be tolerated because if one has a gun then one would think he should have too how to fix this problem is that no one just gets a gun

Removing guns from the society will just make criminals another way and psychopaths to make commit crimes just like what happened in China and other parts of Europe wherein stabbing is one of the most common way of making terror. Let's just make Switzerland's gun laws and gun related cases an example.

An article says:
Quote
Switzerland’s relatively low levels of gun-related violence, despite widespread firearm ownership, often serve as a point of comparison in debates about gun control.

they said that mass shooters might be mentally and emotionally unstable...
Anyone who derives joy from shooting their fellow beings should be insane and kill the exact way he or she shoots their fellow beings.

Mass shootings are what we learn of happening in the US, not always, but it happen from time to time because their citizens are allowed to use guns.

You don't give a civilian gun when they know that they can have you eliminated in the slightest disagreement or provocation. Many people have been killed because of this. Those who are mentally unstable see guns as a way to eliminate many people for fun or anger.
