there have been numerous news about the platform polymarket the biggest one i can remember was someone betting a huge amount of money on trump winning the election which alerted the authorities

since then the platform has gained a lot of attention and seemed to only spark some more these days as i see that the platform has a lot of prediction events ranging from politics to pop culture it’s crazy it also accepts crypto which only attracts more people

Maybe not in the foreseeable future because I read that the home of the company's CEO was raided by FBI due to alleged illegal bets. Yeah, they are getting more popular now but I don't want the risk of using a platform that could have financial trouble at anytime because of huge fines/penalties.

Yes. There are many users looking into poly market since the time of that election,  I think everyone saw few more threads of poly market in BTT discussing it's rise too.

It only add up it's popularity because we talk about it. But it's also interesting to watch the bets inside the platform. Gamblers are making money out of political events.

Seems they gain traction because of what has happened to the bet but is also having negative effects because the CEO has got raided so maybe it's not a good time for now to get involve in such activity because I think most of us don't want that risk. Though it's my first time hearing this platform but from the scenario it's quite risky.

I may have a look on it but I play traditional games like dice and Crash, and I am loyal to casinos I'm playing because of the perks I'm getting but if they become active on forums and they launch a campaign here as a support, I will check the site and may play depending on my budget.
Polymarket are getting a lot of attention, but let's see if they can sustain in the months and years to come.

There have been some warning signs all because of the CEO's home was being raided after the US election. We could just be over thinking this but it's reasonable to also be warned.  It's an interesting incident because while there have been a clear regulation that US citizens are not able to wager in the platform, the US authorities still raided the CEO and his devices.

As long as poly doesn't force people to send IDs, they will still trust it.

I see it as fun to use just because of the other types of beds you could make with other players and make a market with. That’s relatively new to me in an online betting site. I have won several bets already, and I think I will continue to use it.
