It will be something of a proof that adoption is massively going when these data is publicised excluding that 5% from illicit transactions.

I am sure the number is significantly higher than 5% in crypto.

As global grey area is about 5% and crypto is a convinient tool to covert the origins, the volume is much higher.
It might be the same in terms of number of crypto users, but shadow sector would be significantly more active in terms of transactions.
