Actually if you observe the transition of the meme coin ecosystem you will come to notice that meme coins moved very quickly from using the ethereum network as an anchor to making use of the solana network.  There is a gist about scalability but I believe it's mostly because of fees.

As of the amount exchanges charge , it's quite obvious that they add their own percentage to the normal network fees and some use bigger fees for faster confirmation.

Each exchange they have own rule or regulation about fees transaction when withdrawing Solana coin, I think each exchange have difference fees when withdrawing Solana than from DEX or Solana wallet with most cheapest fees.
Yesterday I withdraw USDT trough Solana network and spent $1 for fees withdrawing, maybe withdraw at Solana wallet its self just take few cent only of SOL coins and cheapest fees than withdrawing from exchange market.

Like I said earlier on, when the ethereum network was still very new most coins and tokens used it as a base network until other other alternatives like Solana became more popular.

Ethereum fees are way high compared to even the Tron network. Sending some usdt for example on the tron network costs around $1 for fees, unlike the Ethereum network that requires over $5.

The speed Solana can offer is around 65k tps, including internal network activities. If we're being precise, it's only about 800 tps, meaning all users can only conduct 800 transactions simultaneously. That's why Solana can experience temporary overload at certain times. Luckily, we haven't had to endure any more outages on Solana for a long time now ^^

Many new teams are choosing Solana to launch projects to take advantage of the Solana ecosystem vibrancy, the huge user base, and the extremely low transaction fees. I haven't participated in bounty campaigns and airdrops for a long time, so I don't pursue any new projects. I only focus on the Solana network, the SOL price chart, and a few DEXs in this ecosystem.

      -     I don't use the solana network often, though I have other coins under the sol network. Maybe I'll only use it when I know I have enough profit from my other holdings under the sol network. Then I'm also doing some dca on SOL so far.

I also use other networks sometimes because I also have coins that I'm saving like the TON network, Bsc, EVM, and others that I think also have potential in the future.

Actually, I think that Solana network is very faster than others network. We also know that Solana is one of the best profitable crypto in cryptocurrency market. I think gradually Solana price will increase in very well position. But if we follow in cryptocurrency market we can see that Solana when bitcoin or cryptocurrency market were down, then Solana price will be down. But when cryptocurrency market will be high then Solana price also be high. So I believe that in future Solana network will be more improve and Solana price will reach best position in cryptocurrency market.
