EY is looking for a blockchain specialist to join its Global Blockchain team. This role is perfect for someone with deep expertise in cryptography, zero-knowledge proofs, and Ethereum-based blockchain technology. You'll be working alongside mathematicians, cryptographers, and developers to create innovative blockchain applications and push the boundaries of distributed computing.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
Blockchain Expertise: Strong knowledge of blockchain technology, particularly Ethereum.
Cryptography & Mathematics: Experience with Zero Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs), elliptic curves, Merkle trees, KZG, IPA, and FRI commitment schemes.
Programming: Proficiency in Rust and Solidity (including assembly-level coding).
Infrastructure & Databases: Experience with application development, server infrastructure, and MongoDB.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to anticipate and counter security threats, think critically, and develop solutions to complex problems.
Academic Background: A degree in mathematics, computer science, physics, or engineering is required. A master’s or PhD is preferred.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Designing advanced cryptographic protocols for blockchain applications.
Developing and implementing Zero Knowledge Proofs, homomorphic encryption, and other cryptographic tools.
Collaborating on open-source projects and setting industry standards.
Working closely with developers to enhance their cryptography skills.
Staying up to date with the latest advancements in blockchain and security.
