Do you still believe in an altseason in 2025?

We are talking about altcoin market though, so for Bitcoin to hit $95k, then it's good as it has been decoupling from the altcoin market. Most of the altcoins are still bleeding even if Bitcoin has reach all time high.

With that, chances are very slim for them to make their own run. Although I still wanted to think that in the last quarter, I do hope that altcoins will have it's version of a bull run to end the cycle.

Actually, I think Bitcoin has an inseparable connection with altcoin season, so we can never imagine an altcoin season without the price of Bitcoin. And that's why most people when they see bitcoin recovering, they also come from this side that there is a lot of potential for an altcoin season run.
Especially in the last few days, a lot of investment has been coming into altcoins, which has resulted in the whole market cap increasing further. However, today the market situation has not increased at the same rate, but I am optimistic that the market is taking a light break and will turn up again later.

Currently we can see the price of Bitcoin continues to increase after experiencing a fairly deep decline after reaching a new ATH this year, if this price continues to increase and is able to reach a new ATH price of course this is extraordinary, and the Altcoin season could happen this year. Yeah you're right. We are waiting for the alt season to happen this year where altcoins don't depends on the price of Bitcoin. We see that Bitcoin had a good price action and probably hit $100k again soon but the altcoins are just doing the same thing like nothing big happen to Bitcoin. Just like in the last cycle of Bitcoin, there is a altseason, and I believe it will happen in this cycle before the bear market begins.

In other seasons, along with the increase in the price of Bitcoin, altcoins also became bullish. But this season we are seeing an exception. Where Bitcoin touched a new high, there was no major change in the altcoins. But I am also confident. Some altcoins are still affordable and the price of altcoins can increase rapidly at any time in this bullish season. Even if the price of Bitcoin remains in this condition, I think there will be a momentum in the altmarket. However, it is expected that the Bitcoin price will exceed 100k in a very short time and the bullish wind will continue to blow in the altcoins.

I think that even if people did not believe in these things until now, now they will at least say that they believe in the 2025 altcoin season because they considered the previous correction to be the beginning of the bear season. We are still not in the bull season; the downtrend line on the upper band is not yet broken. BTC is still inside the downtrend unless the BTC price breaks the $86k level; we are on the uptrend.

But currently the price is in a consolidation phase; the price is still at the $90k level. The price is still undecided. If there's good news, maybe it can break the $96k and go into an uptrend, but if not, we are still in the bearish season.

About altcoin season, if you didn't notice, some old coins that launched last 2021 just recently jumped to more than 100%.
What I see on altcoin season is it needs the help of the BTC to pump their price. Look at the BTC dominance every week; it increases, so if BTC just pumps a bit, other altcoins jump in price x10 to x100.

My estimation for altcoin season is that it will start around July or August. For now, I saw some old coins that I monitor just pump recently, so there are some investors who are already investing some, I guess, to be ready for altcoin season.

The correction of Bitcoin from 109k to 74k is also a trap for putting the people in a panic situation so that they will sell their bitcoin at loss in low price and that will goes for  accumulation to the big whale.
And that exactly happened it in every season in every cycle and also it is also happened that people's are also stepped into their trap. Anyway, I am hoping for something good in the next quarter of 2025.

In one point of view you are right that in this season we have seen unexpected bull run from Bitcoin market like before the halving it cross the all time high price in this season. And also made a quick all time high price on the above of 109k, which was really  impressive.
But if we look around the altcoins then I have to say that yes  some of them have done good pump but most of the altcoin stay down average pump especially if we say about the Ethereum it was very disappointing about the price of etherium.  I am thinking about that market and the bullish season isn't end yet so we can wait more.

Of course you can rely on this four year pattern but I believe that you must be very cautious about it as the main criterion. The crypto market under consideration is very volatile and it is capable of switching to a new cycle due to numerous factors. There are now situations which prove that we can get temporary price reductions which are not signs of altseason or the end of an uptrend. It means if one has an excessive reliance on history, he or she may fail to care about new signals, which have got the relevance today. It would be rather tricky to plan based on patterns that I may not notice or would not be repeated and that is why I desire to comprehend the patterns that are easily recognisable these days. The argument of holding is logical, but do not miss a chance of repositioning during changes.

The current uptrend surely raises hopes among investors but nothing is permanent here. Just like the market dumped in a blink of an eye same it can dump again although it pumped in a blink of an eye too. Market is too volatile but hoping it will recover again is a good hope but we should hope on some solid base.

I don't think it was a panic actually, it was as a result of US tarrif war with other countries and since stock and forex crashes, people that have money in Bitcoin removes their money immediately but now that everything seems to be calm, money has return to stock and same people that removes their money from Bitcoin return their money.

The only people that are yet to be on good term is China and you can see that even there stocks crashes too during that tarrif war against each other. This is political interest affecting Bitcoin and it's normal because we have lots of institutional investors having billions of dollars in Bitcoin.

When BTC reaches ATH again, it is likely that altcoins will follow the upward direction but do not know how much they will rise because from the decline a few months ago made altcoins fall more and more.
