True that the government has the sole power to shut down any exchange that defaults, but to some extent, not to be too harsh with their sanctions on exchanges. ...

Maybe the government should look for an alternative way of sanctioning them as the case may be, and not shut down an organisation that has been in existence for years, just because they are anonymous and, for the first time in their existence, money was laundered through their exchange, unknown to them.
Yes, but so far there's no exchanges has been force to shutdown by the government yet (imo), they were sanctioned instead and sued, the platform and the execs and force to follow their regulation policies. Most are xlosed due to competitions, low volumes, and few more other reasons.
The government has only intervened, but there has been no forced closure of exchanges so far, except for the mixer platform that was forcibly closed and confiscated.
Usually the government always has a way to warn any exchange platform, including the past example of Binance being sanctioned because the government thinks it violates the rules.

True that the government collects taxes from exchanges, and that is a good one for them because they use it to further development as it relates to their country, but they always have control of the exchange since they take tax from them and if bannng them, there would be no means of tax collection so why not handle situations properly to be able to investigate matters as to get to the tooth of the cause of occurrences than to make them suspend there activities or getting them banned.
The government only wants an instant way and will certainly kick anyone if they don't comply.
Taxes are a great income for a country, but the taxes earned on crypto are quite large and the government continues to do that.

My local exchange is also registered as an official exchange as well, but of course some other exchanges still use VPNs.

It is almost comical.

The common person just wants to use crypto to make more money (+ wHeN LaMbO??!) so they use whatever regulated exchange they like, and then act surprise when the exchange withholds their funds for an investigation or shuts down and never obtains them back. They then while about crypto being "a scam" when if they simply used an anonymous exchange or a P2P trading site, they wouldn't have this problem in the first place.

I've been saying the same thing about this topic for years. Using any reliable DEX is the solution to many of these problems, without having to share our personal information, without fear of our funds being held due to some absurd law, or due to changes in a centralized exchange's terms of service. But even after all the cases we see (almost) daily, it seems like people only know/want to use Binance and similar.

I personally think that if we still look at any survey, we will see that most of the cases of money laundering and other crimes are happening through fiat currency. I am not saying that crypto currency or such services are not involved in money laundering or other illegal activities at all, but even though these activities are more visible through fiat currency, we are more likely to express an assumption about crypto currency or these related tools. Which main target is to creates  bad image for the crypto space.

Where there's money, there's fraud and scams; that's inevitable. And what you say about giving the cryptocurrency industry a bad image is also true. When it comes to scams, criminal acts, and money laundering, nothing compares to the figures we see in numerous reports, which show the starkest and clearest reality.

This report (although there are several) should open many people's eyes: Financial Criminals Target Fiat More Than Crypto.

Thanks for the appreciation, and I think it is on the manager to pay whoever he wants to, I don't think you have to apply for the pay, if you would be eligible maybe he would have paid you by asking you with details, IDK it is a maybe because I am not sure.

I got it, mate. Maybe things also work like that there, as I am not sure about it. Anyway, I bumped the Bitcoin Peach thread maybe two or three days ago, but my post was deleted by someone, and now, it could be moderator action, or the OP itself may have deleted my post. Now, I don't know what my mistake was in this, as there are some other user bump posts that are still there as they are, but mine got deleted.

I will try to reach out to OP through PM to confirm if I made any mistake in this, so I will surely apologise to him; if not, then I will openly open this thing in the same thread from where my post was deleted.

Yeah, you have to ask the way of payment from peach, although I think pay is not for everyone. And speaking of your post that got deleted, I just checked the thread and it was self-moderated topic, and that means, the posts must be deleted by the OP not by moderator as far as I understand the self moderation concept, when a topic is self moderated, the rights of the moderator don't work there.

For more details you can learn from the theymos post's https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=152876.0 So, probably your post has been deleted by the OP. And I only saw two people bumping the thread, one write pump and other don't. So don't know why your post got deleted, you should ask, it is not a big deal I suppose.
