TCAP explores the market
One of the largest intermediaries between traders in the financial, energy and commodity markets, TP Icap plc has reportedly established a "working group" to explore the possibilities of working with cryptocurrency.

The working group reportedly includes some of the highest-ranking TP Icap executives and according to "knowledgeable people" quoted by Financial News London, this could be another sign that major banks are looking to enter the crypto market and the networks that serve them are getting ready for this day.

Last week, it was reported that Blackrock, the world's largest asset management company, is exploring the crypto market with a similar working group.

Hashflare datacenter stops cloud mining
The company Hashflare  datacenter, which has been operating for several years, announced the termination of their active contracts to process SHA-256 due to the continued unprofitability of mining BTC.

The company explained on Facebook that: "for more than a month, our users are faced with a situation where the payments were lower than the service fee." In fact, as of 18.07.2018, the payments were lower than the service for the last 28 days.

The team seems to think they can recover from the event by pointing out:

We expect that the situation in the cryptocurrency market will stabilize in the near future, and we will be able to offer our users new profitable solutions.

However, the Hashflare datacenter reputation may be too tarnished for the realization of the promise, because many customers complain that the company does not offer damages invested in the contracts, or the alternative of mining that would be allowed to recapture the loss. People are also leery of the fact that the company has added the requirements of KYC / AML right before publishing the latest ads.

Tutanota now accepts several cryptocurrencies
Tutanota, a service providing encrypted email services with more than 2 million users, has announced the start of cryptocurrency support integration.

As a first step towards the goal, users can already donate bitcoins, BCH, ETH and XMR on the Tutanota platform. Currently, developers are also testing how easily they can automate the processing of cryptocurrency payments to add the option to pay with cryptocurrency. The company reports:

We at Tutanota have always supported cryptocurrencies because we welcome the idea of a decentralized payment method that works independently of centralized payment systems such as banks or credit card institutions. We welcome the idea of an anonymous payment method. With Tutanota, we want to provide an anonymous email service for journalists, whistleblowers, and human rights activists who need the extra protection they get from Tutanota's built-in encryption.
