Google has joined the list of tech giants to deploy blockchain technology to provide customers with FINTECH solutions and cloud service.Google has announced that it is working with two key companies, Digital Asset and BlockApps, to offer new solutions using the distributed registry (DLT) on Google's cloud platform (GCP), which will allow users to "explore ways to [use] distributed technologies."
Digital Asset is a software provider for the FINTECH industry working with a distributed registry, while BlockApps offers a blockchain platform for running decentralized applications (DApps).
In a statement "Building a better cloud service with our partners" announced at the Next'18 conference held by Google, the company said that "at the end of this year, customers will be able to test open source integration for Hyperledger Fabric and Ethereum (ETH) in the GCP Marketplace service."
The CEO of Digital Asset Blythe Masters noted that " the upcoming decision will reduce the technical barriers to the development of DLT-applications.
Thanks to new partnerships, Google joins other tech companies that offer cloud services for blockchain-solutions (BaaS), such as Microsoft, IBM and Oracle Amazon Web Services (AWS), which launched its blockchain-a platform for DApps in April 2018.
