I do not know why there is a need to choose. The technology behind the project should be equally important as usability.
Do you think that the common people would understand the technology?

You seem to be so sure about that. Why are you pre-judging those "common" people?
Anyway, you could be more specific with your question. You might want to change it to "most important to users"

As I know that most people use the technology but know nothing about its complications. For eg : many people use smartphones but who  ares about how it works!
