The Ripple is used by banks because Ripple is a real-time gross settlement system (RTGS), a currency exchange, and a remittance network. The network can handle 1,500 transactions per second and can be scaled to 50,000 transactions per second. In contrast, Bitcoin can only handle six transactions per second, and Ethereum can handle 15. Ripple is not like most cryptocurrency for it does not have cryptocurrencies standard features like a blockchain, its tokens are already mined, and no new tokens will be created over time.
Do you as crypto enthusiast trust it like the banks.
