What is meant by long-term investment is that we really buy coins and our goal is to save for a long time until the price goes up. While "Hold" is when we have a coin and the price falls, the word hold is used.

if I if the coin that I hold in a period of several months there is no change or no increase I will sell a loss but I take another strategy to find an altcoin which I think will be monthly or I buy a coin that is certain and make a little profit from my trading

Yes i think long term investment and holding is almost the same. I believe that if we are going to invest in a long term we are also just like holding. Because we need to wait for the right time to sell our holdings same with the long term investment. This is really both a good strategy specially on the verry huge dip.

Very interesting point . seems you are right . I didint look that issue from that kind of perspective. Yeah long term investment means investing for 1 2 year time period.
But we are saying hold or i am holding during bear market . While we are rekt day by day we are saying hodlll. So yes you are completely right.
