Its always prudent not to put all your eggs in one basket. XRP and ETH are good investments. I suggest you buy both since the values of coins increase at the expense of the other. At a point ETH would make you a fortune as XRP drops and vice versa. Buy both

As for me I like ripple more. Maybe it's not so valuable but it had shown us already that it's worth trying.
