When startup co-founders fight, it might be devastating for any startup.
We are witnessing the same with MEW.

It seams the 2 founders:
https://twitter.com/tayvano_&
https://twitter.com/kvhnuke_have been building MEW since day1.
Taylor Monahan have been the engine behind the support and customer relation, and the other guy, strikes me as the geeky developer type.
For some reason, it seams there was a divergence in vision, and Taylor wanted to split from the company and build her own company, and probably with the team she hired for Myetherwallet.

Taylor launched MyCrypto, but the communication was a bit not clear, as the average reader would come to the conclusion that Myetherwallet, is being discontinued as a product, or just left out to die, whereas the reality is that it was simply a fork ! code and company wise.
To make things worse, Taylor, who have been in charge of the MyEtherWallet twitter handle, switched the name to MyCrypto !
Which led the other founder to recreate another MyetherWallet handle and declaring
@myetherwallet Twitter handle was changed without knowledge or permission of MEW's founder. We are investigating the matter, and will update everyone shortly. Stay tuned for further updates.
MyEtherWallet is safe and functioning normally. You may continue to use MyEtherWallet as you normally would, your wallets have not been compromised. At present, we are dealing with what we believe to be an unlawful, social media account switch . We are addressing the situation presently and @kvhnuke_ will provide updates as they come available. We love our community and are as committed as ever to serving you. So don’t worry (we won’t)
So here you go people, both companies are different now, and both will probably be operational, and maybe move towards diffrent visions.
