암호화폐 전문 미디어 크립토글로브가 암호화폐 관련 데이터 제공 업체 샌티멘트(Santiment)의 마켓 데이터를 인용 "최근 ERC-20 토큰들의 가격이 ETH로부터 디커플링(decoupling)되는 현상이 나타나고 있다"고 보도했다. 이와 관련해 샌티멘트는 "지난 2016~17년 사이에도 이와 유사한 패턴이 발생했고, 이때 ETH이 폭발적인 상승장(explosive bull run)을 연출, BTC도 이에 동조한 바 있다"고 분석했다.
