Berlin based Blockchain company MXC,announced the launch of their “Smart City IoT Standard”, the MX Protocol, in New York City. The 2019 NYC Smart City Program will see hundreds of Smart Sensors & LPWAN Gateways deployed across the 5 boroughs. These high tech sensors will collect data from a wide range of sources, including walking routes, sewage flows, building occupancy, car usage and temperature, significantly optimizing city-wide device to device communication, improving residents quality of life.
