How much risk in bitcoin investement

I just wanted to know that, what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit. But i want to know what is the risk involved. Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.

Its always going to be a risk, however if you are only using fiat to purchase bitcoin that you dont actually need back right away, then it only becomes a waiting game upon andy major decline in price per token.

In general crypto is more risky compare to stocks or other investment instrument but in actual fact you are the one to decide how much risk you are expose to though.

As it is a decentralized blockchain network and there is no government involvement in it so from my point of view there is no risk in bitcoin investment.

The risks are high but it's one to take if you are looking to earn more than usual.  You can always manage risks buy being equipped with the right knowledge and information.  But If I were you I'd try other cryptos other than bitcoin.

Nobody knows for sure when the price of bitcoin will increase or decrease, but there are many people who are optimistic about the price of bitcoin in the future. If you are ready for the risk then it seems that this is the right time because even though it's slow, I see the market getting better.

Invest in cryptocurrency is more riskier than other investment instruments you might see from the market due to the volatility involve in cryptocurrency and not other invest instrument carries this type of volatility.

The risk depends on Bitcoin's investors. For the people that know well about how to manage the Bitcoin investment, it should be low risk. While for the beginners that try to invest without sufficient knowledge and proper strategies, it should be high risk. I think you won't be able to determine how much risk in Bitcoin investment. Why not forget it, you are better to learn more to know how to run a Bitcoin investment correctly than thinking how much the risk.

There are risks everywhere, if you decide to invest, you need to be ready for any turns, bitcoin can fall lower than you might expect, but it can dramatically increase, it's like in roulette, no one knows how the market will behave.

No one seems to me to give an adequate answer. Because the reasons for the rise or fall of Bitcoin are not amenable to real analysis. What you can be sure of is that it will always have a value.

Where there is a possibility of quick profit, there will always be great risks, but if you approach the issue wisely, the chances are that your profit will double, or even triple, much more.
