No, karma is about liking a post or it making you laugh, it's about contributions to the forum. Useful contributions such as a lists, valuable info, proposals etc.

Karma in my opinion is given an assessment of the content and influence of our posts of others, if the postings contain the things that felt bad or offensive to certain groups then we could have given a negative karma and vice versa. it is indispensable for a good ethics in writing posts.

Having negative karma means you have violated the rules and it will cause ,but it really shows the rate of contributions  you have been making into the page.

what do you mean by karma? It is positive or negative? When you talk about positive karma you can earn point by doing a quality post. But when get negative karma sometimes it happen when your post are not quality or you just spamming. So you should be carefull.

Positive karma is given if you do.something good whiles negative karma is given if you do something bad. Having 1000 karma means you have 100ALTS.

Karma point is given to those people who were contributed a lot. There are two types in determining the karma point the postive karma which will give you a bonus points if you don't violate any rules. While negative karma is given to those people who were good at violating rules and if you get -1 it will automatically reduce your points to -1000 points.
