VEIL techonology from Bitcoin Core 0.17

Veil adopted the network of bitcoin core 0.17 to fully launch their platform. With the help of privacy protocol of Zerocoin.

I think veil has a good deciding factor upon choosing up bitcoin core software as it is tested already as one of the most secure software in existence that can withstand lots of breached and network failure. I know it's not perfect but one of the useful blockchain that can be adopted to create a new platform for other purposes.

Also adding the zerocoin protocol in the scene is a great option since zerocoin knowledge proofs allow a computation of certain transaction to be invisible. Which in layman's term is totally anonymous and untraceable.

This means of anonymous transacting breaks transaction links. However, Zerocoin transactions have to be made in fixed denominations and this limits real transactional use. Also, Zerocoins have to be minted from Basecoins prior to a transaction. Given the wait involved, most people just perform transactions with Basecoins; these are not anonymous payments.

Hello, that is true for zerocoin. However veil secures its Basecoin layer with RingCT a tech adopted from Monero which can help the veil platform provides always-on full-time privacy for its users. There are lots of zerocoin projects that used basecoin. But only veil managed to improved it by incorporating other tech such as RingCT.
