Bakkt官方推特表示，将于9月6日开始提供安全的比特币存储服务，为在9月23日推出的Bakkt比特币每日和月度期货做准备。这些合同将使受到端到端监管的市场和托管的比特币实物交付成为可能。《币世界》8月16日曾报道，洲际交易所（ICE）子公司Bakkt宣布，计划于9月23日推出其实物结算的比特币期货合约。
