Yes sir you are right because many cons never survive in long run or future competition market. Some governments backed coins, exchanges baked coins, are ever lasting but some coins are worthless because they would not able to achieve the roadmap requirements. They flew away from the market with people or investors money. So their coins will be delisted very soon.

Top altcoins are still in good performance even if there are some declines currently.

That has been proven by the strength possessed by DOGE and Monero because these two coins are still perched in the top 30 CoinMarketCap and it is definitely old school coins like this that have a very strong value to invest for the long term.

Both of these coins will also be good coins with new altcoins that are created if the new altcoins do not have the uniqueness of old school altcoins.

I think everyone can answer it. There were already too many altcoins ended to be dead coins and delisted from various exchanges. It shows that not all altcoins can survive and go to their ATH. Commonly they are new fresh coins/tokens that still have low volumes.

It is bad news. But in fact, many new altcoins face this condition. Many of them cannot survive in this crypto moment. They may not survive in the token sale, or even after listing on the exchange because their price so dumps and heading to dead coins.
However, some certain new projects with the interesting product will survive and get more investors.

If the altcoin wouldn't be able to ride the flow and isn't able to make improvements to satisfy its users then most likely it wouldn't be able to survive the crypto world sooner or later. It is very important for a coin to be innovative so that it can compete with other altcoins out there in the market and if the team won't be able to work on an idea that other altcoins doesn't have then it will be barely hanging or could be considered dead.
