The Chinese government has never supported a decentralized cryptocurrency, and most likely, it was more hostile than friendly. It is forced to reckon with it, since cryptocurrency is becoming increasingly popular not only in China, but also in the whole world. The Chinese government even tried to fight and prohibit the cryptocurrency circulation in its country, but the measures taken did not give the expected results.
Now there all efforts are aimed at testing and launching its digital renminbi in May. Further relevance to decentralized cryptocurrency in China will depend on the degree to which people accept the digital renminbi. Therefore, of course, in the near future, the attitude of the Chinese government to cryptocurrency will not change.

The Chinese government is still busy issuing its stable digital coin - the digital renminbi. After that, it will observe and analyze the situation in the financial market. Therefore, in the near future, there will hardly be any serious changes in relation to cryptocurrency. Finances love stability, and there are too many shocks on it due to the coronavirus. However, a lot of events are expected this year both in the financial sector and in the cryptocurrency market.
