Honestly, investing on new crypto projects in recent times is risky because there are too many exist scam. A thorough research has to be carried out before investing because anything can happen. In order to stay safe on new crypto investment while considering investing.
I advice any potential investors to be proactive, and they should, as a matter of facts the single important success factor for any ICO/IEO, or cryptocurrency is the developers and administrative team behind the project.

It depends on which coin you choose. If indeed it is on DeFi coins like YFI or HEX then I don't think it is a problem, because these two coins are also potential and their progress is very good. Trying small amounts is fine for new experiences.

Any invetment in cryptocurrency is risky,the best example is uniswap, look what is happening there every day a lot of projects are listed on this dex who have anoinmus team and usualy this projects are making exit scam.

For new players, it is advisable to invest in old and potential coins. however, for existing advanced players, investing in new coins was not really a problem. If indeed you believe the coin is good. and it is best to invest in small amounts first.

I think the high risk has passed on to the traders not to the investors. If you are investor you already know what is the possibility when the coins/tokens you have from the project you supported is already listed so your fund and profit is safe if you are going to sale it while at good price not craving for the pump. But if you are greedy I think even your capital will lost when the normal dram in the market comes.

So, the main question is that Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens? or it is good for a very certain time of investment?

Always not risky to invest in a new crypto coin but crypto currency trading is for those people who like to take risk and try hard to take gain or success in maximum project .

In as much as there is risk of lost, then their is sure an upward growth potential. In my own little experience, either new or old coin/token, risk is imminent. So it all lies on doing your research properly, investing what you can afford to loose and lastly patience, in cryptospace patience is a very critical asset.

Normally it is risky because new coin have no faith to the others for this reason the token price will not increase and big investors are not willing to invest in those coin. If you invest to those coin you have more possibility to lose.

Currently investing in new coins or tokens is a bit risky. Currently most of the projects have been successful. Most of the projects that are successful are DeFi projects. However, fraud with DeFi has already started. So I think everyone needs to be aware of this. But those who are investing in DeFi tokens are losing out. Because DeFi projects are already losing popularity. So I think the token YFI‌ at the top of popularity is going to be destroyed day by day. So I had no idea what was going to happen in the market.
