The power of mini update of testnet which pumped Ethereum to above 300$, it's possible for it to reach $1000 but i wouldn't be too optimistic though, probably might be just above $500 this year. Absolutely correct, to reach the last ATH of any coin, it will need at least 2x the old Market Cap of that same old ATH.
So for Etherum to reach those $1400 prices again, it will have to beat Bitcoin Market Cap which is hard to digest right now (2020)

There are so many challenges facing ethereum. Alternative platforms have been battling with ethereum to provide services where eth is lacking. especially in terms of gas fees and speed of transcation. if ethereum 2.0 can resolve all these issues, then can we say that 1000 usd is possible.
