not impossible but right now difficult to beat eth.because eth set a standard in crypto world, so new project must be need time to beat eth. recently we can see DOT creat a hype and as a result public trade on DOT. now this coin rank under 10, so this kind of project can beat but not easy.

DOT now is in fifth position next to Ripple. Despite DOT aggressively rank in the top 5, Ethereum cannot be defeated. I agree, Eth seems the normal used blockchain in cryptocurrency ecosystem because it is popular and trusted by many investors. Dot is far from Ethereum level as of today but it can overthrown Ripple if DeFi tokens hype remain until December.
