I am more interested in new coins that want to compete with ethereum, for example Tron and other Dapps platforms, they are developing smart contracts and offering faster transactions at lower costs.
Xrp was once ranked 2nd on coinmarketcap in 2018 but the situation didn't last long and until now after many DeFi projects ethereum price is still good at rank 2 coinmarketcap.
This shows that investors are still interested in ethereum even though there are many fraudulent projects such as fake ICOs that raise a lot of funds for new projects but we still see the ethereum platform still gaining the trust of project developers and investors with new DeFi projects booming in 2019-2020.

Yeah maybe the chance for a new coin to beat Eth is huge. But every new coin carries the risk of a very drastic drop in price. Due to the demand and offer of coins in the cypto market, which causes the price of the new coin to increase.

Ethereum is better to be approached and invited to cooperate, if the #DevelopmentTeam  has negative thoughts to beat EThereum then I believe the coin will be difficult to develop.
