For you, USDT not deserve to be in top coins for investment this 2020 but for others they choose usdt. The possible reason why usdt includes in top coins because there are a lot of people who invested their money to usdt. Although it is stable coin doesn't mean no more chance to earn profit.
Market capitalization also matters why come up to top 100 coins in crypto industry.
We deserve the right to choose coins according to what we want to support and invest such as you mentioned.

Tether is a stable coin and its price will be $1 everything being equal and the Titan coin ahead of Bitcoin and Ethereum  means you are just shilling it to newbies who do not understand how the space work people
