Before holding one should be more calculative and experienced. Without experience trader will not make profit. I think trading is more risky then holding.

Basically, crypto is for holding but you should define what kind of tokens you hold whether it is potential now and tomorrow or potential now and shit coin tomorrow. Do not hold tokens that will turn to shitcoin because it is garbage need to dispose.

I think that you can hold Bitcoin and ethereum for long time because I feel these are the trusted coins. Otherwise trading is best option for any other coins. By trading you can earn more instead of holding coins. But if you get huge profit then only hold Bitcoin and ethereum.

If you say that those who correctly understand the trend when to buy and when to sell cryptocurrency get big profits, these are the rules of trading, not storage of cryptocurrency.
Buying and then storing cryptocurrency for a long time does not always justify itself. This is only justified when, in general, the cryptocurrency is constantly growing in value, except for temporary periodic falls. Some types of cryptocurrencies rise and fall in price cyclically, subject only to the general price movement of the cryptocurrency market. Others sometimes only have a few price spikes and then hopelessly fall in value. Only a few of the top cryptocurrencies, starting with bitcoin and ethereum, can still be considered to be continuously growing in price.

We all know that money has no value if it is only in reserves, money can only truly exist with itself when conveying value in circulation & transaction. If everyone just kept BTC in their wallet, BTC would be pushed out of the economy and its value would return to zero.
Holding is of course a good strategy, but it should not be the primary goal in the crypto economy.

It's true for a coin like BTC, ETH, LTC. They are good for long term investments and holding. If you hold any unknows alts or very volatile alts token then I think you need to hold them forever. Some token never go up even they are listed on Binance so you need to be careful which assets you want to hold.

Holding should have a timeline and expiring date. One can't hold and just hold there should be a time you tell yourself I am done I need to sell and move on.
