High transaction fees will be the downfall of Ethereum ?

I believe they already scheduled July the proposed EIP 1559 its for eth fees market reform which promise to solve the ongoing problem most especially the very high fees on every transaction on eth chain if by July still not solved this issues the only hope I can see is the eth 2.0 upgrade but still its in the process and it takes years.

@ice18 I agree with you. But anyway, even if the whole problem is solved in July, it seems to me a lack of respect towards users. In my opinion, such a large community cannot be practically paralyzed (only whales can work with ease) because they cannot move their funds. Ethereum developers should have something so important in mind.

To this point the up rising of Binance Smart Chain will dominate the market in terms of airdrops, campaigns and lots of projects will adopt the BSC network as it has a low fee for transactions. If the awaiting of June for the ETH 2.0 is what will determine the reduction in the transaction fee, then the ETH Smart Contract has lost the battle. The competitive nature in the crypto space has no time to leave as waist, cause that same time is needful for another project to utilize and make effective use of it. As new projects has brought forth new technologies in terms of transactions, the smart ones move in to adopt it.
I only wish that the ETH 2.0 will have a useful feature to keep it at its position, cause the competition in the market is growing everyday and with every new project.

as soon as the asset rises in price, then the commissions within the network will rise too. this applies not only to Ethereum, but also to binance Smart Chain , as well as Tron. It is worth observing Tron transactions, which recently were worth nothing, and today their value has also increased.

today I want to make a one token transaction, but after I saw the fee transaction it shocked me, because I have to spend at least $ 58 for one transaction... and I thought it was too high, therefore I decided not to send my token because I have to pay a lot of money for one token that I send. Ethereum killer app have not yet materialized, but the erc20 token economy is a good thing going for ethereum
thousands of airdrops and bounty distributions every minute ...
But as the transaction fee reaches and surpasses the 1$ per transaction,
projects will reconsider airdrops and maybe some bounties ...
on average an airdrop can reach 2000-10000, is it worth it for any project to spend 10000$ for simply spreading their tokens ?
ICO/IEOs might still do airdrops but i doubt we will see much community tokens in the future ....
Or .... another token platform with better fees will take the leading role from ethereum ...

True the high gas fees is really killing Ethereum Network, since it cost a out $50 per transaction now so many projects have decided to launch on Binance Smart Chain instead, so that their investors won't be bothered about those insane gas fees, if the ETH 2.0 doesn't come out soon enough, Eth might lose its spot to Binance Smart Chain I just hope they release it soon.

I think there is no definitive date for ETH 2.0 yet. That is why the developers are trying to fix the current problem with the release of a hard fork in July. I honestly don't understand how it can take so long to solve something that affects so many people. They take too long and users and new projects won't wait.

In my opinion if ethereum transaction fees is still maintaining high then we can see the downfall of ethereum in the future. The Binance smart chain will take it over because many tokens were migrating Binance Smart chain this is trendy now.

ethereum transaction fees are very high which is a good thing for Ethereum price growth. because every new project based on ethereum or erc20 will think more deeply before executing the project. because if the project does not go as intended, it will only lose a lot of money by distributing some high-cost transactions.
look at the current Ethereum price continues to rise every day and maybe the price will continue to increase

Ethereum is not affected by these high transaction fees, instead the Ethereum price will increase because Ethereum becomes an expensive coin. The concern is Ethereum-based tokens, because high transaction fees make people lazy to glance at tokens from the Ethereum platform. I hope that things get better soon and Ethereum transaction fees are back to normal.
